Office Manager (Posted September 3, 2019)
The Office Manager (OM) works with CEO and CFO to effectively manage the day-to-day operations at the company’s office in Emeryville. Responsibilities include inter-office coordination with Minneapolis and intra-office coordination in Emeryville and the Bay area.
The OM works with the CFO on office management, from facilitating AR/AP to handling expense reports, and on infrastructure coordination, communicating with IT/software vendors and building management. The OM will support the company’s employee programs including coordination of healthcare benefits and onboarding/orientation of new hires.
The OM also maintains the company calendar and performs ad hoc administrative functions as needed for conferences, meetings, marketing, investor relations and other aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in a medical device or technology company. Understanding of a start-up environment and the ability to identify problem areas and propose solutions is helpful.
The candidate should have strong written and verbal communications skills, be highly organized, and know how to prioritize and multitask. Some familiarity with accounting, invoicing and bookkeeping is preferred. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Computer literacy is required, including competence in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Exposure to the medical domain is a plus, as is international exposure and familiarity with a highly diverse multicultural environment.
Emeryville, CA. East Bay resident preferred.
Depends on experience. A compensation package including salary and equity can be considered.
